TELL US ABOUT BOROUGH KITCHEN?

We sell tools for people who love spending time in their kitchen and enjoy entertaining. Our philosophy is simple: better tools, better cooking. We offer goods based on function, quality and durability, asking ourselves questions like: Does the product work effectively? Is it well-constructed? Will it last? The same goes for our cook school, where we teach hands-on skills that last a lifetime. Of course, our tableware is not just about quality and function – they’re about setting an inviting table.

BEYOND FUNCTION, WHAT ROLE DO THE KITCHEN AND FOOD PLAY IN YOUR LIFE?

Being in the kitchen is a peaceful and meditative experience, followed by enjoying food and wine with friends. From an everyday perspective, food is about providing nutritional benefits like a cold-pressed juice, and on the weekend, pure enjoyment like making a cote de bôeuf.

WHAT'S YOUR EVERYDAY GROOMING ROUTINE?

I wash my face with a gentle cleanser morning and night, followed by a hyaluronic serum, moisturiser and SPF 50 every day.

WHAT ARE FIVE BOROUGH KITCHEN PRODUCTS YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT?

A great knife (Kai Shun Classic Santoku), Epicurean chopping board and spatula, Mauviel frying pan and saucepan, lemon squeezer and Microplane grater. But, you need more than five products in the kitchen.

Shower gels by Plant Apothecary, the Daily Face Wash by Baxter of California, Bullfrog Anti-Stress Night mask, the Intense Moisturiser by SA.AL&CO and hair products by Triumph & Disaster.
